Building Schools for the Future
Here are some artist impressions of our new building designs, together with photos of the reality.
The new school buildings are entirely new build. This means that education has not been interrupted by works to the existing buildings which we continued to use until the new buildings were completed. Notices have been sent out to parents and guardians as the current school will close on 6 June for 2 weeks whilst the move to the new building takes place.
All students will commence in the new school on 20 June. Staff and students are very excited about the move, realising how lucky we are compared to other schools who lost their funding. We would like to thank the builders, contractors, architects and everyone who helped to make this such a wonderful reality.
Building started in May 2009 after 6 years of planning.
